I was at my local Pro shop yesterday and was talking with the owner about the Copper John line of sights and I happened to mention that I heard they are coming out with a cover to protect their fiber optics on their pins. Everyone who owns a copper john sight like me knows this about the only drawback to this sight. The fiber optics are very easy to break!!! But the shop owner said he has seen the cover and told me it is like the Butler Creek flip up scope covers for guns. You just have to hit one button and the cover flips up and out of the way. Sounds like a great Idea if you ask me, but he did say that they were not see through like some of the scope covers. Now that would be a great Idea to make a sight protector that was see through. Has anyone else seen this cover, can you confirm or deny that this is its design?

There is a thread over on AT in the Manufacturer's Announcements, on page 2, called "New Copper John Product". They have an actual picture of it there.

The cover looks to be very well made, as are all the Copper John products. The pin cover is not a see-thru piece.
