My brother-in-law is looking for a new bow & is considering the Diamond Widowmaker. He called this evening & asked if I knew anything about them. We don't have any Diamond archery dealers in my area so other than the very little info I found on the web I don't have a clue.
Have any of you shot the Widowmaker? If so, what do you think? He said it felt good to him & I told him that should be all that matters, but he would still like a little more input.
He also asked if $549, new, was a good price. I thought that sounded reasonable. From what I found it appears that suggested retail is around $100 more than that.

I have shot the Widowmaker a few times. It shoots great. It has almost the exact configuration of a Mathews Q2XL, however it's faster. I would have bought it, if it's brace height was higher (which is what I demand in my bows). That price is excellent for that bow.

I've been shooting a Diamond Hornet for the past 3 years, they build excellent bows with excellent quality.
If he likes it, he could do much worse
Is it the widowmaker 3? Do a search here, I think I linked a review of this bow a few months back...
