Default Moderator-Tech Help

I am having problems logging in, and someone suggested calling the number at the bottom of the tech page, which I did. The number says it is not in service. I have went through my profile and checked everything out, but no matter what I do it will not save my info as a cookie. I have to log in each time I visit, which I have no problem doing, but before when I came on, everything was stored and good to go. I know this belongs in the tech help forum, but I am not getting much response. Can a moderator or someone please help me out. I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Bhunter32.

Default RE: Moderator-Tech Help

I'm not a moderator but I have noticed the same issue, ever since the last software upgrade. There is a default that can be set by the admin on how long to allow someone to not post before they are automatically logged off, so I assumed they adjusted this to get the many people who are logged on but not visiting off the pipeline to speed things up. It also probably is how they are able to show us who is on and off line in their profile box next to their posts, which is a useful feature at times.

Since you can still read everything and only need to log on to post, I haven't found it to be a big concern. I just stay logged off until I have something to type...

Several members are reporting similar problems. It would seem that the problems began after the last forum upgrade. Administration is aware of it and is working on the problem. Hopefully it can be resolved soon.
