I've found in the past I had to track deer in the dark far to often. And I know a lattern works better then flashlights, but has anyone ever used a blue lens flashlight before? I've heard they can really illuminate blood even better when it's wet. I'am going to give it a shot anyway but would like any input on the subject.
Thank's

i tried to use a small blue LED light while tracking a fresh kill. but since only blue light was given out by the light, no red light would reflect back to me. i could not tell the difference between dew, shiny plants, and blood. so if the blue lights you have in mind are the "superbright LED" lights that are blue... you should stick with a lantern.
