Bowmender Bow Press

You're making this to easy to buy one. Already have the wife set up for a new sight for Christmas. Now how do I tell her I NEED one of these too?
That's an easy one... Ya tell her you can't put the sight on without one and you can also tell her that you can save a lot of money on gas by not having to drive to the shop to use their press all the time...

Stinky1 might be able to pull that off with his wife, but mine knows about as much about bows as I do
It just might work!!! I've had a ton of e-mails about these and need to say that I'm just not set up to produce these kinds of numbers as of yet. I'll try to keep everyone happy and maybe grow if need be in the near future. Thanks for all the interest and support.

Can't do that BT shooter. She knows too much. Not having to go to the shop/club is a good reason though. Just had a new archer born in Oct. so having a press at home would be a good selling point. Gimp, what is your lead time on getting one?

Well I think we're looking at a couple of weeks, that is if I don't go deer hunting behind the house
BowTech_Shooter e-mailed me to tell me that there is a press that looks very much like the one I make in the Archery Trade Magazine. Maybe availability will be better soon???? LOL. I've sold them for a few years now on E-bay and personal contacts just for something to do so I'm not suprised if there is a "clone" out there. I need to get a picture on here of a sight I made back in 1981. A few years later I saw an add in the Bowhunter magazine of the "Fine Line" cross wire bow sight[
] I've got a few more ideas yet!!!!

Is that a standard flat white paint or a Poly type? Did you have any issue with a pivot point on the limbs at all Russ or is the weight pretty evenly distributed?
I really like the design Wwag.

I think the paint is some type of poly as it is shiny
But WWAG will let you know that.As to the pivot point no problem at all as the bottom bolt goes on the inside of the limb at the pocket and the other on the outside just below the "U" where the cam/idlerwheel is.
It just basicly flexes the limb the same as when you draw the bow if you know what I am talking about

Oh heck just order one you wont be sorry.

Altho I will say that this press will in NO WAY help you with your penetration problem

OH GEEEZZ!!! I'm going to have to get the wife out there to help me out[
] That's after she's done with all the laundry, dishes, cooking and bill paying!!! Ausie, you sure you don't want to move to Nebraska?? I'll show you how to weld and run a bandsaw
The paint I use is Rust-Oleum Appliance Epoxy enamel. It seems to be pretty tough. I sandblast the parts and then paint right away. I'll be busy this weekend!!!!
