RE: Suggestions on new bow?
GEEZZZ Pin, if a guy walked into your shop and wanted to look at and possibly purchase a BowTech would you try to sell him something else?? I don't know if you sell BowTechs or not but you may be missing many sales in your shop this year!! Looks like BowTech has answered many individual's requests with the changes apparent in the '04 line up. If you haven't shot or even looked at the new BowTech line, I suggest you do and even maybe pick up a dealership!!! Diversity in any pro shop is what will bring great sales. BowTech is growing very fast and providing great customer service to the VERY few that have issues, many of which are the shops or owner's problems with module changes and draw length settings. The BowTechs that I own are the most trouble free, solid, accurate and performing bows that I've seen in 31 years. Look into BowTech for a very diverse line up for a bow that will fit everyone's needs and budget:D

WWAG-
I originally posted a long reply to your post, but thought better of it. This is not the time to be fighting amongst ourselves---shoot whatever you like, and others will do the same.;) Peace. Pinwheel 12 |
RE: Suggestions on new bow?
ORIGINAL: Pinwheel 12 Pat does the same because he's on Bowtechs' staff too BTW, Not to start an argument (or keep one going ;)) but Merlin's staff and loyal customer's also helps inform people and they come to battle when needed. That's the way it's supposed to be. http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showth...threadid=42102 ORIGINAL taken out of the ArcheryTalk thread above: Pinwheel12 There are currently five people out of the almost 50 so far who have posted on this thread that are directly associated with the Merlin factory. Much like any other thread on any messageboard anywhere about any product, you're going to primarily receive responses from those who shoot that product. I think it's very clear to see from the overwhelming support here that these bows are worth at least looking at, irregardless of the certain small percentage of people who may not like them for whatever reason, and also irregardless of whether or not those of us affiliated with the company DO like them. As staff shooters, if we didn't like them or felt we couldn't compete with them, we wouldn't be shooting them. We'd be shooting/working for someone else.... It is really that simple. We all talk about and talk up what we like. We all do..;):D |

RE: Suggestions on new bow?
I thought better about these posts and decided to retract them all as it will be better for everyone and will squash any further turmoil.
But do read the above link by Pat----interesting reading!:D;) Peace to all..;) Pinwheel 12 |
RE: Suggestions on new bow?
What’d I miss? ( which one of these is the confused smiley?)
I apologize if I’ve ruffled anyone’s feathers, it was not my intention to do so. The original poster asked for specific info about BT so I provided it. By no means do I think the lad should buy a bow blindly having never handled them or something similar. Hope the boy enjoys whatever he may pick. The name on the limbs is not important… the important thing is that we are adding new archers to our ranks! |
RE: Suggestions on new bow?
Wasn't you Jeff, I just flared up at wiggy's post, is all. Pat immediately responded , and then I responded back, and it was apparent that it would soon become very messy in a short period of time so I simply deleted everything and said to heck with it because the whole thing was dumb on both sides. After I read back through everything I realized it was just wiggy being wiggy and so pulled the posts. I got ticked initially because wiggy likes to rattle my cage occasionally (check out the Merlin thread in Pats' post) and I was having a bad day--- normally I'm a bit better than that but it caught me poorly and at the wrong time.;). Anyway, sh*t happens, No biggie. Like I said, no reason to be fighting over what bows we sell or like, we're all archers first and you are correct, the name on the limb doesn't matter unless you work for the company and such banter directly affects your wallet. (which it does sometimes...just something for us all to think about there also, it's not all just fun and games on these boards.....;)) Good shooting, Pinwheel 12

RE: Suggestions on new bow?
Ahhh.. I see:) I was thinking "WTF happened here?"
As my Mother used to say to me and my brother "You boys fight nice!" :D No need for all that garbage. I'm sure off the medium of the internet, we'd all have a great time BS'ing ..it's just too easy on the internet to argue/fly off the handle. Wiggy? Russ, can I call ya that from now on? ![]() |
RE: Suggestions on new bow?
Wiggy? That reminds me of the Wiggles DVD that my son watches each day....:)
I totally agree as well. Who cares what the name on the limbs say...as long as the bow fits the archer and it is put together well. |
RE: Suggestions on new bow?
ORIGINAL: PABowhntr That reminds me of the Wiggles Hunter loves it. He has me and Kim walking around the house now singing "Fruit Salad...yummy, yummy"...[:@] |
