A few more questions: I read some posts somewhere about BowTech supposedly infringing on patent rights. Is there any truth to this or just plain rumors? Since they are a fairly new company are they going to be around for some time to come? I just don' t want to sink a lot of money in a bow and then the company go belly under, leaving me with a bow that I can' t get parts or service for. Any thoughts?

Thanks

You been over on ArcheryTalk

Those are only Rumors just about every 6 months or so those type of threads and bashing show up.

Kevin Strothers who is also a member of this board owns all the patent rights for Bowtech cams.

Now if you really think about it if there was any infringement then Bowtech would have been pulled into court a long time ago.

I dont know where these people get their info from and they can not put up any proof only " I heard this in a Pro Shop or a buddy told me" .

I think it is just sour grapes from shooters of OTHER brands of bows because Bowtech is taking a larger share of the market each year.

I have no doubt what so ever that Bowtech is going to be around for years to come. Their customer service is second to none and they will stand behind any bow that they make.

You will not go wrong with any bow that Bowtech makes.
My personal favourite is the Patriot Dually

VAhuntr, the same few people on archerytalk start this rumor every so often. A couple of them contribute nothing but trash to any BowTech thread. I' m not sure what their problems are, but suspect they are personal.

Though I have not been over on Archerytalk lately I would tend to agree with the above comments. It happens with every major bow manufacturer at one time or another....and usually it is right when they start to get big or have an exceptionally good year. Take it with a grain of salt...there is most assuredly nothing to it.

I experienced something similar to this back in early 2000 when Bowtech was just hitting the scene. I took my Bowtech by a local dealer for him to check it out. The regional PSE rep just happened to be in there and proceeded to tell the dealer that PSE had a law suit against Bowtech, blah, blah, blah,.....

So I went to the PSE forum and asked................I was subsequently kicked off the forum. Everyone likes to run their mouth, but no one seems to be able to back it up. [:@]

I did read it on ArcheryTalk, in the thread discussing the new Liberty. I figured it was just jealous rumors. It appears to me that they are making a great bows and some people are worried about them! I know a few of my diehard Hoyt buddies are atleast considering taking a look at BowTech when they decide to buy a new bow. Thanks for the help, now I can' t wait to go shoot one!

You can add me to that list as well. I liked my brothers 03' Patriot SC so much that I' m now shooting it. I' m going to use it the rest of this season and then look into the 04' Bowtechs after the holidays.

You know guy's everyone has their own opinion on what ever product they choose and when other's don't share that opinion they have to come up with a line of defense whether it be true or not .If they can scare you off the product of your choice then they accomplish what they set out to do . If your next choice isn't the same as their's then they'll give you another line of B-S until you come around to their way of thinking .My advice is don't pay any attention to what you hear just look into your product's success and that will speak for itself. Also this website is the best site to get accurate info on all product's out on the market today so stick around and you'll find out for yourself.
Bow Tech is leading the industry in this millenium and some people just can't handle the fact that there's a better product other than there's out there .
The point I'm trying to make here is the ones spreading the rumours probably actually believe that the product in question is the best and they don't have it, so they don't want you to have it neither

500fps, It is funny you say that, I was at my local shop and the PSE rep. did the exact same thing. All I did was ask him what he thought of the BowTechs and he proceded with a 20 min disertation/bashing of bowtech..........geez....all I wanted was a little feedback. some people. People like that SUCK. JMHO<
