Default Help with arrows for the wife

Trying to lighten up the arrows for my wife, who wants her arrows to have a little more " zip" . She presently shoots Gold Tip Falcon 35' s at 22 3/4" long. With 75 grain tips, the arrows (3" feathers) weigh in at 300 grains. I am looking for an arrow combination that will weigh around 250 grains (with tip, nock, insert, feathers). The bow' s maximum draw weight is 41 lbs. She would need an arrow that weighs under 5 gpi. - Any suggestions on arrow selection or configuration?

Easton Redlines will get you close. They are not cheap.ACE or hyperspeeds are light but mega bucks. Is this for target or hunting? For hunting I would keep the extra weight since shots need to be close anyway.

Who makes the Cheetahs, Carbon Tec? They are advertised as 5 grains per" . These should meet your specs, but I have no experience with their quality.

If it were me, I' d bite the bullet and get ACCs.

I ordered the Redlines - 6.2 gpi. These arrows are only for target - to get that " zip" she wants. When she is able to group 2-3" consistently at 30 yards while pulling back the full 40 lbs of DW, we will switch her over to heavier arrows, adjust the sights, get a good cut-on-contact head, and let her hunt, providing she is pushing enough KE - it' ll be close (35 lb).

The only arrows I would buy for my wife are the ones with the little rubber suction cups on the end. That way she can' t hurt herself or the dog.
