It completely depends on the bow you are mounting it on! The Mathews & BowTech don't set up as advertised in the instructions. Without knowing your exact setup I can't offer any suggestions.

John,
I suggest that you take the time to quiet the rest down with moleskin. including the pickup hook. The ZE is a great rest once you have it tuned, the best hunting rest that I have shot.

Put the moleskin on the overdraw tray so your arrows do not make any noise against the tray. Moleskin the pickup hook being sure to press it in well to conform to the hooks shape that way the arrow is silent in the draw across the pickup hook. I also put a bit of rubber tubing (model airplane fuel tubing) on the height adjustment screw that contacts the stop plate to cushion the contact when the rest comes up the height.

Stinky - did the tiny limbsaver stay on?? I'm thinking of putting one on the bottom/side of the rest 'shelf' because it seems to vibrate for quite a while after the shot - I never thought of putting one on the slide!
