Muzzy broadheads
Does anyone out there who uses muzzys get them to group in the same spot as your field points. Mine always shoots the field points a few inches higher. I think ive tried about everything to bring them together but ive just about given up. Guess i' ll just practice with the practice broadheads.

My Muzzy 100 grain 3 blades shoot in the same spot as my field points. It took some tuning and time. Its natural for most fixed blade broadheads to fly a hair lower.

Doesn' t really matter to me if they group the same as field points, as long as the broadheads group well. If you do get them to group exactly the same, it is usually due to a compromise in tuning on both the field points and broadheads.

Not every head will group with field points out of every setup. There are way to many factors. That said 9 out of 10 times if I choose to I can get the impact points to come together with some rest " tweeking" The smaller and shorter the head the easier it seems to be.

My muzzy 125s were shooting way to the left of my feild points. I tried everything to get them to group. I then went to a 160gn land shark and a 160 feild tip and the hit right with my feild points. I think it was a matter of a stiff arrow. Surprising enough I did not have to touch my pins the 160s hit were my 125s hit. and my penetration is better.

RE: Muzzy broadheads
I have to echo " Bobco' s" words.
Struggling to group broadheads with fieldpoints has never made sense to me, and never will. Why expend all the time and effort and compromise the tuning to get broadheads to group with your fieldpoints, when fieldpoints are not used for hunting big game? Why not expend the time and energy to fine tune just your broadheads and leave the fieldpoints out of the picture?
Some say that getting broadheads to group with fieldpoints indicates that the bow and shafts are fine-tuned. I say that when I tune just my broadheads and my broadheads are flying well and consistently hitting the spot, my bow and shafts are fine-tuned……for just broadheads……the head that I will be using to hunt deer with.
