That depends on what you consider the best!

Hoyt is doing nothing but making their bows better every year!
Bear has a new one out...it looks promising....

Cant wait to see all the NEW TOYS!

There are a few criteria that I think are important on a hunting bow.

1) It should be very quiet. I think the less noise, the better your chances of a deer not jumping the string.

2) The brace height should be very high. It is way too easy to hit your bulky cold weather clothing with lower brace heights. I think about 7 1/2" is the minimum, especially in cold climates. Some shooting styles can handle shorter brace heights without problems, but most will interfere with heavy clothing.

3)It should be short enough to accomodate your type of hunting. Tree stand hunters like very short bows. Those still hunting in thick cover want them short enough to keep from hanging up on twigs and such. You should be able to comfortably shoot it from a sitting or kneeling position without the bottom cam hitting the ground or your stand.

4) You should be deadly accurate with it inside of 30 yards.

My opinion isssssss Bow-Tech has definetly got to be considered in this category, they have a lot of excellent bow's in their garage this year .Check them out I'm sure you will have to agree.I find it hard to believe that nobody else mentioned them.

I think Hoyts got it this year. I would vote the CyberTec best all around bow and the HavocTec best hunting bow. Both are very quiet. I think bowtech keeps getting better each year as well. You also have to consider the new Pearson line. I havent seen the new Mathews so i dont have any comments about them.
