Is this normal?

gobble you may be getting consistant groups a good arrow flight. But if your FTs and BHs are not hitting the same POI than you bow needs some fine tuning. All you have to do is move your rest in small increments (1/32") at a time until both hit the same POI. If you were shooting good groups before, I guarantee they will be even better.

The true test is always to shoot broadheads. I dont care what you do with field tips until you slap a broadhead on their you wont know the true story. Broadheads have a funny way of showing any slight tuning mistakes or mistakes in form. I usualy dont bother with paper tuning i just broadhead tune. Lots of methods work though.

That's exactly the way I feel passthru. I just p tune to get close, then sight in my 20 yd pin and do walk back tuning. When that is done I BH tune. On a good day when everything works out the way it should, I can have a bow tuned up in about 30 - 45 mins. But sometimes you run into a problem with fletching clearance that can screw you up. It happened twice to me recently with the same Ripcord drop away rest on 2 different bows. Switchin to another drop away rest solved the problem immediately.

[QUOTE=Gobbleputt;3659990]Bronko - We need every mental advantage we can get as it is all about confidence. If we want to align our blades with our vanes, spin every arrow, sprinkle with foo-foo dust, then let 'er rip! I doubt it has an tremendous effect, but I do the same as Vermont.
nobody told me about the foo-foo dust. where can i get some
