That's why all my arrows are either yellow blazers or white feathers. Yep, I have lost some arrows, I don't know anyone that hasn't. I've lost some them in 3D tournaments ( I use black blazers for that)..so a lumnock would'nt help me there, I don't want to give the other shooter a target.
Really it's to each his own, I do have an advantage in that I don't pay much for arrows because of my sponsors.

I make my own with a trill lite and a small piece of a nock. comes in at 14 grains.
