Default Poundage drop

Does anyone have experience with dropping the poundage on their bow? I am thinking about dropping the poundage on my AlphaMax about 5 pounds to see if it increases the accuracy and decreases the vibration and noise. How much do you think it will affect the speed of the bow?

Doubt dropping poundage will help with noise. But possible tiller tune might.

In other words, take 1/4 turn out of the top and see if you see any noise changes, etc. But each time you take a turn out, you have to repaper tune the elevation which is painful.

I find bows with bad cam lean will have a lot of noise. Your putting another component of vibration on arrow with bad cam lean.

Backing the bow down 5# will cost you approx. 10 to 12fps. I'd say that is Not the answer to your problems. I'd let an experienced tech go over the bow and setup.
