SE/PDF = Stored Energy/Peak Draw Force -- I would guess around 1.25 to 1.35 is pretty common.

I am thinking of a NAP Pro 1000 or an origional whisker buscuit for my rest. Not sure yet.

I guess I am luck, I have a 31" draw and shoot about 68lbs. Going to carbon arrows this year, probably Bemmans ICS or Camo hunter plus with 5" left helical feathers and 125 grain broadheads. I have a bunch of fixed heads that I am going to try first. If I can't get it paper tuned I will try mech's.

I use Limb savers, string savers, cable dampeners, a teflon cable slide, and a 5.5oz Golden Key-Futura stabilizer to reduce vibration. I use a Trufire X-Caliper release with an Ultr-Nock XL.

I an hoping to be up around 250fps.

One small item gave me an extra 4 fps (thru the chrono) and a smidge more KE. I replaced the stock cable guide on my Ultratec with a Bohning teflon guide. May not be much but I'll take it.

55#,

The highest SE/PDF ratio I've ever seen Norb Mullaney state is around what JeffB said 1.5, I think that was on a Martin 2 cam highly reflexed, low brace height riser job(got like 250 AMO on it). Typical high values are in the 1.4-1.45 range, and even then only on a fairly reflexed riser with radical one or 2 cams.

55- Matt ain't lying to you bud, his figures are very close, if not right on. I too quit using the puter sites for calculation, I use a chronograph and good old fashioned shooting technique..... plus 37 years of experience.

I know Matt is right, I was hoping to get a little bit of speed thats all. 240fps is fairly quick when you are used to shooting 190's fps out of an olymrecurve. Thank's for all of the info. That's why I like this forum so much.
Good shooting.
