I've used aluminum's all my life bowhunting and I can't say one bad thing about them. I don't know how people can say there not durable. I'm hard on arrows, I go out stump shooting all the time and not every stump Is a dead one like we think It Is and 99% of the time that arrow Is just fine when It hits that so called dead stump. I've used the same arrow over and over again that's killed animals. Still perfectly straight!! In saying all this though I'm going to give FMJ's a try this year. I've been experimenting with EFOC and I'm not getting It with my 2216 aluminum's but was told I'll get It much easier with a 340 FMJ shaft with my set up with my recurve. I tried the EFOC with my 2216's but wasn't getting as good of arrow flight as I wanted. If these FMJ's turn out to be a waste of money I'll jump right back on to my 2216's as they've been an excellent arrow for me. I'll say this that there will be no way In hell that I'll be shooting these FMJ's at stumps, I have a hard time believing there as strong as my 2216's. There way too damn spendy anyway!! $119.00 for bare shafts, they cost allot more them my 2216's do all fletched up.

All I'm saying here Is don't be afraid to go the aluminum route, there a damn good arrow and a very proven one at that.
