I can also add that when I was playing with one, I could let it down VERY fast without it firing... but when I really fired it, it fired. I was impressed that I could let down as fast as I was doing and it would stay up like it did.

Found this video, looks like a fine rest but it sure doesn't look like it stays up nearly as long as the Limb driver,or whammy.

Not a bash at all,I really like it,might even try it but it just doesn't look like it stays up that long to me.Am I missing something?

My question is....Are they going to provide different prongs for it? All of the pictures I saw of it had prongs that looked similar to the Trophy Taker standard prong. Not very good for hunting.

Yeah this rest kinda reminds me of the QAD LD- except on the QAD (LD) you need to cock it first-it's not like the older QAD where you could draw and have it come up.

I was checking out the vid for the Tripwire the other day.Heh, John H. is the big TV spot star now, eh? Could one of you guys tell him I said "hi", please?

As for the rest I'm sure it's going to be extremely well done, Looks solid. But I personally prefer a simpler design- Trophy Taker, Limb Driver, etc.

I'll agree with Muzz too-If you are going to compete with the QAD, LD, and convert people off of Biscuits and Hostages, you are going to need more containment/a wider launcher.

whats the retail on it going to be?

Keep in mind this is the first offering and I'm sure tweaks and upgrades will be made as time goes on...

SRP is $109.99

Some guys shoot that staggered vane like that- the belief is that it gives the guidance of a much larger vane without the added weight.

....I think it is a west coast thing.....at least that is what I was lead to believe.

Coug,

I haven't played with the tripwire yet but was eyeing up the video as well.
