I just got a pse carroll intruder for my son it is supposed to be adjustable.
Is the slots on the cam what makes it adjustable?and if so do i have to buy
a new string everytime i have it adjusted. Thanks in advance

RE: Pse guys help
found this on the pse forum
They are a great bow, synergy cams that should be adjustable one inch up and down by changing string in grove of cam on top and bottom. You can also change by 1/2 inch incriments but when you only change string position on one cam to do this you will have to move your string knocking point. The synergy has an brass auger in the h bracket to adjust cam lean. You should not have any trouble and the cable should sit in about the center of auger adj. As long as you do not see any wear on string serving on one side where string wraps around cams no worry. Some of the synergys had a hole in the auger that was off center thus when you rotate it you could change cam timing.I never messed with this on any of my synergy cams,I just put a twist in cable where it attaches directly to cam.
The carroll line of bows are not found on pse,s old bow catalogue.I think we bought ours new about 1994.The same cams were used on the top of line bows during that time such as the mach 6.Pse still produces a synergy cam the synergy8 it has a little differant cam shape.
They are a very accurate bow and you should have no problem finding strings etc. Any questions e mail me .As long as the limb sticker can be read you have all the specs to find help with needs .
Your wife did a good job finding you a bow I think you will be happy.I have some acsess to dist. that still sell the sight s quivers etc.from that bow.It will also take most any sight or arrow rest as mounting holes are all the same.
Good luck and enjoy [/align]
