I assume you are wanting it quiet for hunting. If so, keep shooting it as is for practice, don' t worry about the noise. Then, before you hunt, coat the prongs with a layer of clear nail polish. It dries fast and odorless, and will provide a silent draw for several shots, more than adequate for a hunt. Plus, it' s only like $.97 per bottle

I have the teflon covering the prongs of my rest and would still get some sound. What I use is the cloth type bandaids. I cut a small strip that fits on the prong. It will last for quit a while and is cheep. No noise with it.
