I just bought a Bodoodle Zapper rest and really like it except for one thing. I have developed a " ping" on release. The draw is pretty quite, alot more than I expected. This is very noticable on release.
Any one else have this problem with the Zappers? What did you do to fix it?
Thanks

Is it tuned properly? Sounds like one of the launcher arms is being stressed and flicked upon launch. Perhaps add some teflon tape to see if this quiets it, if so, practice without it when the ping won' t matter, and install the teflon prior to hunting.
Does the zapper do a good job of holding the arrow to prevent fall off, like a whisker biscuit would?

It holds the arrow just fine. I have the 300 model, which allows you to top load an arrow. I have turned my bow from side to side and have had no problem holding the arrow on.
The rest came with some tape, didnt really look at it. I think they call it smoke tape, i will have to try it.
Thanks for the idea.
