I have a Mathews Legacy and am wondering which is the correct way to make sure the limbs are adjusted evenly. I got the bow at Christmas and the dealer adjusted the limbs out three turns from being totally cranked down to get the draw weight down where I wanted it so that I could build up strength. I took it back to the same dealer a couple weeks ago and he noticed that the string wasn' t the same distance from the where the riser where the limbs met it so he adjusted it so that it was. After it being adjusted this way, though, the limbs are much different when looking at the base of the limbs. Which way is correct?

Already got a call back from the voicemail I left for Mathews tech support a couple minutes ago. According to them, measuring tiller means nothing on single cam bows, only on round wheel or dual cam bows, and I should turn my limbs out equal turns from totally cranked down. The tech there was actually a refreshing source of info and I' m afraid I took advantage of him when I dropped my laundry list of questions on him. Here' s some more info I got from him. Can some of you Mathews dealers check to make sure I understood it correctly?
Berber button hole = the hole the rest screws into
Correct rest height = centering the arrow with the berger button hole
Correct center shot = center the arrow 13/16" off the left side of the riser, tune from there
Correct nocking point = arrow on the rest level plus 1/8" , tune from there
Does all of that sound right?

Jason , I have always cranked mine all the way down until the limbs are bottomed out (full poundage) . Then take a majic marker and draw a line on the limb bolt and a corresponding line/dot on your limb even with the mark on your limb bolt. Then when you need to adjust you can just crank them down even amounts until you get your desired weight , all of my Mathews have dropped about 3-4 pounds per full turn ! Good luck !
