I use a string splitter also. I started with the jr and it was putting to much strain on my string and I had to replace it after a few months of shooting. So then I went to the string splitter mini and it has worked very good for me. You get all the light you need when it starts to get dark. It takes some practice to get use to it cause you need to line the arc of the string splitter up with the sight bracket in order to be accurate. But once you get the hang of it I think it's the best peep out there.
