Default Fuse string(hoyt)

whats the opinion on this string? Good or bad? I believe mine has it(orange/blk). But it has fuzzy spots in certain areas. Is that normal? I wax the string after every 50-75 shots. Are there better strings out there? I heard about pro strings also

I haven't had good luck with mine on my vectrix, I'm going to replace the fuse string/cables with a set from rocksolid after the seasons over

The 2008 Fuse string is MUCH better than the past. I bought my VectrixPlus in November of '07, and my peep is still perfectly square. It hasn't moved at all. The string is still in very good condition as well.

Pre '08 though......JUNK. The first thing I did when I bought my bow was change out the string and cable. Thankfully, not this year.

Not impressed myself, nor have most people been, though I have heard that the 08 stuff was a little better. Unfortunately, MANY bows end up needing "good strings" shortly after you buy them.

my 05 reflex buckskin stock strings sucked horribly.. replaced them with a set of bucknasties and were 10 times better..

my 07 reflex rampage with the fuze strings sucked too.. starting to fray in spots even with religious waxing.. waiting on a set of bucknasties to show up but i might have to go through this season with the fuze strings.

I know its about 4-5 weeks on the bucknasty ones so im gonna try to make it with the fuse this year... Ill get the bucknasty this spring for next year.

I just dont like the fraying also! I do notice that my peep doesnt move any which is one good thing from the fuse I guess

I havent seen the 08 fuse ones yet.. anyone have one that want to get rid of?

I have fuse strings on my 07 Growler and haven't had any majorproblems yet. But I am getting some fuzzing right undermy serving. And I don't like it either.
