Default Where are you supposed to anchor?

If you shoot fingers is it sposed to be at the corner of the mouth and if you use a release you're sposed to have your knuckles on your jaw. Is it personal preference where you anchor or is the a good reason for where you anchor? Or are you fine as long as you stay consistent.

Default RE: Where are you supposed to anchor?

I do not anchor like most compound shooters. I anchor at the corner of my mouth, nock / loop / releaseat corner of mouth, string touches tip of nose.
It's different but repeatable and I've been shooting that way for at least 10 years.
Now people have a new picture to use when they are showing an example of bad form.
