Default ? for Arthur P

Hi Arthur,
I need a little advice on selecting a new arrow. I don' t know if you remember me, but I shoot pretty much the same set up you do Hoyt protec LXPro Accuwheel (finger shooter) set at 60lbs. My draw length is 26.5-27. inch Right now I shoot a XX75 2216 at 30 inches with a 125 head 5 inch vanes. I' m considering going to a 28inch arrow to better fit my draw length. probablly a XX78 2213, or maybe a carbon. I feel you have the most expertise on this The thing is I' m conerned with durability penetration forgiveness and bow noise,But most of all accuracy. Im hoping you can give me some input I plan on staying with 5 inch vanes and probablly 125gr. head. Basically if you had my specs what size and type of arrow would you go with?
Also how often do you change your string and cables? And hve you changed them on your protec since you got it ? And if you did what did you go with?
One More,What kind of arrow straightener do you use and how easy is it to straighten arrows with it. I keep reading how nobdy can seem to do it.
Thanks I appeciate your help

Tim, my arrow straightener is made by Vador. Not the very best one out there but it works fine. It takes some practice to figure out just how hard to push the handle, but it' s usually not too hard to get arrows back to factory tolerance, if not better.

I wouldn' t go with 2213. I' d leave the arrows 28 1/2 - 29" and go to 2215 instead. Check your e-mail.
