Wasnt sure if this was the right board to post this question, but here goes:
I just bought a Tru-fire bear paw glove release. Havent shot with it yet, but I really liked the way that it felt. With all I have read about back tension method of release, will this style work?
Also, I am kicking around the idea of going with a string loop. Can the bear paw be used with a loop?
Thanks

As long as you tie the loop long enough to leave a little clearance between the jaws and the arrow nock, the Bear Paw works just fine with a loop. You also should keep the loop heavily waxed so it will be stiff enough to clip the release to it easy. You can just the back tension triggering method with it just the same as a wrist strap release. You just have to remember to relax your hand and turn loose of the palm part of the strap when you get to anchor.
