I was wondering how bad or what effect would it have on my bow if i try to get my nocking point back where it should be by adjusting the tiller instead of twisting the strings and cables?Another question then--how much will the tiller adjustments move my nocking points?

Changing the tiller will affect not only the nocking point but will also affect the feel/torque/hold of the bow. Loosening the upper limb usually gives better results than loosening the lower limb. You' ve getting into a whole different aspect of bow tuning. It can be fun but frustrating if you don' t document what you do.

Len,if i do get myself in a mess with my tiller adjusting couldn' t i just crank my limb bolts tight and start over?

Thanks sisk,i' ll do that--sounds ALMOST idiot proof. The reason i want to experiment with the tiller is to find out how the feel of the bow changes when i draw and hold on target--i heard somewhere that you can adjust the tiller to get a custom feel and just thought i would try it--we' ll see how it works out!
