I have a question for you. How much do you arrows weigh right now?

that would be too much FOC.....
No it would not the higher the FOC the better arrow flight and momentium.

I dont know if those shafts you are talking about will have enough spine if you go with the real heavy head specially at your specs.

I gladly give up speed for optium arrow flight, momentium and penetration.

What is FOC?

435.18 grains. Carbon Express Maxima 350 (31"), 4" feathers, 125 grain screw-in Magnus Snuffer broadhead, Easton Tracer X-Nock. The entire arrow is black except for the tracer nocks, but the practice nocks are black. That is why my nick name is "Black Stick."

I agree that arrow flight is the most important part. There is no reason to have a super fast arrow if you don't know where it is going.

Can't you move your rest back andcut your arrows down a few inches I have a 30" draw and shoot 28.5" arrows and still have 2-1/2" past my rest.

395 grains. Carbon Express Maxima 350 (31"), 4" feathers, 125 grain screw-in Magnus Snuffer broadhead, Easton Tracer X-Nock. The entire arrow is black except for the tracer nocks, but the practice nocks are black. That is why my nick name is "Black Stick."
if you switch to 100 grain BH you can get 275 and just be 10 grains above max.

Now that I know about FOC, I need 8.9 gpi shafts (31") in order to continue using 4" feathers, 125 grain screw-in Magnus Snuffer broadheads, and Easton Tracer X-Nocks. That is a 435.18 grain arrow. The Gold Tip Pro Hunter Black 7595 and Carbon Express Maxima Black 350 are ideal for that set-up. However, the ideal we3ight is back to 365 grains total, which means I need to loose 70.18 grains to get down to 365 grains total arrow weight. Not an easy task. I understand that arrow flight is more important than speed. I shoot 3D and hunt Bear (grizzly and black) and whitetail deer with the bow. The heavy 435.18 grain set up is very effective, but I want more speed. I have two ideas, but I don't know if they will work. 159.28

Easton Ace 520 (6.7 gpi) --> 371.17 total grains
Easton Redline 600 (6.9 gpi) --> 373.18 total grains

Either one would be just fine, but I would prefer the Ace because it has stricter tolerance. Would this fly?

I don't want to do that because the brace height on the 82nd airborne is only 6.5 inches and moving the rest back would make it difficult for me to put the arrow on without messing up the 4" feathers. Plus, a shorter arrow would mess up the FOC even more.

I like Magnus Snuffer broadheads a lot and the only way to get a 100 grain snuffer is to use a glue on broadhead, which I am not interested in at all. I like to be able to use the same shaft at the range and in the field and that requires a screw-in broadhead. The lightest snuffer screw-in broadhead is 125 grains and I am using that right now. I do not want to change that.
