I certainly have confidence in tuning my bow, have NEVER had any issue with T-heads, I feel they are one of the best heads ever made. I'll tune em up and be ready to hunt.

I shoot 307 fps using Maxima Hunter 350's and the Thunderhead finds the right spot time after time.

thunderheads do seem to be one used for alot of tuning purposes, I am around 180fps and shoots fine. had to have my bow tuned up really good to do it though it took a little while.

85gr Thunderhead @ probably 305 gets the job done for me.

The deer seem to have a problem with this combination.

I did have some issues with them in the past, and getting them to fly straight, but they were also older heads, probably 1999-2000 circa, so they may not have been as good quality as what you can get today, but I've gotten Muzzy's to fly pretty well that were older, and I've heard guys have issues with newer Muzzy's saying they were lower quality than older ones. I think maybe there's an occasional bad batch or something!?!? I only am shooting mid-270's though, so I can't say at "HIGH" speeds what the performance of ANYTHING would be.

I have use the old thunderheads for years, have many left, plan to shoot them for many more years and they shoot very well, but I shoot 242 FPS with 125grs.

However they pass through the rib cage and stick in the ground. See no reason to change.

I am pushing over 300 with my 101st and I put my TH 100's on for turkey hunting so I can shoot through the netting and they fly awesome!! Walt
