Bowhunter, I questioned the cam 1/2 setting coming up one cam hard so I contacted the developer of OT2 and he told me that it was correct since a cam and half is actually like a one cam. So go ahead and use the one cam hard for all cam 1/2 settings.
Thanks archer 2. I appreciate that info.!!

That is cool! 317!! That kind of speed is for you young guys!
It's from the new string/cables and positioning the speed nocks and STS. The same arrow I was at 294 before the change.

If you had that kind of gain, you had some issues with the other setup.

Or,you have some preload change and alot less strands, along with maybe a little twisted cable situation that has given you a longer draw length.

Either way,specs are a little different.One was/is not correct,but maybe perfectly acceptable.

I myself have seen some pretty good speed increases with different string/cable configuratiuons but there is usually a reason.
No issue with either rig and no difference in ATA or BH.

There was no issue with the other setup. Rig shot perfectly and my speeds were very good compared to the numbers I see from others. I wrote a lengthy post previously about what I found with STS positioning. I set the STS in the highest postion because I was under the assumption that the higher you have it the better of you are. This is obviously not always true. I also played with the speed nock position and the Vaportrail strings are guaranteed to add speed.

The reasons are all listed here and in my previous post on the STS.

No doubt strings can change speeds, especially when changing the material and number of strands but that is a change and a significate one but that alone won't give you a 23 fps increase.

Changing the speed nock location will also help but never have I seen much more than 4 ps difference, assuming they were properly positioned to begin with.If they are not in the proper place, they will rob lots of speed.

I gained speed with putting my sts in different places as well but it was only a couple fps,but that wasn't what I was looking for, just what happened.

TFOX,

I've stated previously that every bow is different and no one thing that I changed gave me 23 fps. It was accumulative. STS 10 fps, Vapor Trail Strings 10 fps, speed nock would probably be the other 3.

My buddy tried his STS in every position on his Matthews and it made no difference at all.I've test and record results.I haven'texceeded the IBO or modified the equipment in sch a way to tamper with my results. My results are what they are and I'm happy. Not everyone will get the same results with the STS or strings. However, my buddy picked up almost 10 fps going to Vapor Trail strings himself.
