2007 Bowtech tribute......
is there anything that i need to know or anything that i need to do to my new bow to make it better or last longer?
i just bought this bow and have only shot it once. the bow shoots awesome. it took me a couple of minutes to sight in and now i am shooting golf ball sized groups.
i have on the bow:
custom winners choice strings
G5 peep
QAD hunter rest
sts
limbsaver on sts and cable rod (Quads on the limbs)
teflon cable slide
tru-glo sight
loop
i am shooting beman 400 arrows at 26.5inches
with 100grain rocket titaniums
total arrow weight 371grains
the bow is set at 28 inches and 70ibs.
i am getting 283fps. is this good.
i was told that was excellent but i was expecting more speed.

Sounds like a good setup. Congrats on an awesome new bow. I used to shoot a 2006 Tribute and really liked it. As far as speed at 283, my 06 shot about that, around 288 with Carbon Express Maxima 350s with 100g tips and blazer vanes.
