BOWTECH TRIBUTE 2006 verses 2007
What is the main difference between the 06 and 07 Tribute ?
Besides the Grip ??
Any trouble or problems with either ?
Found a decent price on a 2006 Tribute , but I figured $350. to set it up including case , brings total to abought $900. and I install everything.
Or 2007 , all set up with preety much everything the same , tested etc, for $985.
$550. sounds like a prety good deal on a 06 new in box , but after adding all the bells and wistles it dont sound as good.

From what I've read andwas told by the guy I bought my '07 Allegiance from they've changed the cams a little to releave more of the stress that causes torquing on the limbs. Beyond that I believe there is very little difference. You should PM BowTech Shooter aka Pat Dinan. He works for Bowtech and would be able to give you an accurate answer on this. Good luck with either choice. I bought my last Subday and finally going to shoot it this weekend.

I have the 2006 BowTech Tribute and I think it shoots great. I love this bow. I had a matthews before and like this better. Not saying the matthew was Bad( it's a very good Bow) I just found that it was a little more compact ATA and the draw is set at 64 lbs. and feels like 50 with the smooth cams. Maybe the '07is better I don't know... But the 2006 Tribute is a homerun in anyballpark!!
My 2 cents..

4TRACKS
Something to consider that just dawned on me and may or may not be important to you. The warranty for a Bowtech is nontransferable. Maing that unless it is a brand new 06' I'd personally get the 07'
I shot my now today for the first time since purchase and all I can say is wow. The bow is truly awesome. No sound, no vibration and the accuracy is just sick. I haven't shot a bow in 2 years and had the bow sighted in and hitting the 10 ring in 15 shots. This is without a peep too.
06' or 07' you won't go wrong with either bow.

If it's new in box from the dealer then it would have a warranty. If it's new and in a box from online thenthere is no warranty. If new and from dealer get the 06'. Use the difference to buy the accessories.

4 TRACKS, I just bought an 06 in January this yr. It was used from one of the staff shooters @ the proshop. It came w/a quiver for $525. I put on the rest from my old bow. I did just recently added a CSS from MeanV2. It is super quiet now. I had to make a decision between an 07' for $699 or the used one.The $50 difference is $50 u can use towards arrows, etc. I am very happy w/my 06. If it's new, it will have a warranty.

I have an 06 tribute and i love it, i shot three deer with it this last year, great bow, i havn't shot an 07 yet but if it's anything like the 06 it's awesome, but the warrenty issue is a good point, you never know when something will happen
