No the way he put it was way out of line , no two ways about it. If he doesnt want to even try to help then he shouldnt even bother to make comments like he did. Say what you want but the way his comment came out he acted like a #@$%

Archer,
In all honesty, I agree with Swampcollie, BG apoligized for the way it would sound, and may be right, he may need to see his local bowshop if he isn't exactly sure what is causing this. I also agree that a picture or two is definitely needed.

Huntoholic,
Can you adjust the tension of your rest, or LOCK it in the upright position. This is one of the CON'S of prong rests that sometimes you have to toy with a lot of things to figure out WHAT really is the problem, then find out it was weak spring tension causing much of your difficulty. But you can also have that tension too tight, so it's a little trial and error, but I've found less problems with the tension being too tight than being too weak. The other thing that may be possible is contact. I've found that the HIGH profile of BLAZER's makes for a less than optimal match up with a NAP QT1000 rest, and this is exactly what I had happening.

I thank everyone for there advice. I have decided to back away from the prong rest and pick up a ultra rest. My matthews has this system and i love it. Again thank you all.

He only apologized after getting his rearend blasted. Putting comments like he did is what will turn people away from forums when they are only looking for information. THe way BG came across is like he was calling the guy an idiot. You can befriend him all you want but he came across as a JERK.

OK, so I sounded like a JERK. And I apologized. Whether before or after getting blasted. I'm not the most articulate person in the world. I make mistakes. I admit it. I'm human. So what would you have me do to make amends? It seems as it is you can't let it go. I have. I got better things to do with my life than hold a grudge against somebody I don't even know.

archer2 i dont post here much, when i have BG has gone out of his way and dealt with me one on one thru e-mails and was very helpfulto me,and that is a basic question in the fact that it may be a number of things that arent right in the set up causing the arrow to dive it could be the rest, the nock, the fletchings, the angle in which the target is being shot, too much weight forward in the arrow itsself, and yes instead of fiddling with a bunch of everything take it to a shop so someone can see what is going on first hand.
and you gotta remember on here it is hard to express the intent of what is said because you cannot hear the tone or see facial expressions so dont take things to heart so easy.
hey BG my boots dont fit what size should i get?

I hate to sound like a ball buster, but if you have a need to ask about something this basic then you should probably find and attain the services of a local pro-shop.
This is not giving any advice at all this is being a $%# , well you can fill in the letters.
Come on. He was just talking like he's with friends.
