Yes, some very good info indeed. I didn't go away. Just reading/appreciating the postsand learning as you guys continue to share your knowledge. Idid order the Bitzenburger with aright helical clampand also the 4"AAE Elite Plastifletch vanes. I'm going to go with all red. I would have tried the Bohnings but Cabelas don't carry them in red.

If I am understanding this right I will use my helical clamp and applyadesired amount of offset. Is there a degree of offset that would be a good starting point on a 120 degree3vane application?

That's the nice thing about learning to do this stuff for yourself. During the offseason I will typically have some arrows with different fletches on them such as blazers, 4" vanes, feathers, etc. Then, as I shoot them I can see if there is any differenceand what the difference is. If you have a dozen shafts, fletch4 with no offset, 4with half the offset possible and4 with a maximum offset. Then shoot them and see how they fly. I also mark my arrows (numbers/dots on the vanes or, with feathers a mark on the shaft) so that I can also see and know what each arrow does each time I shoot it.

The Bohning Tower jig works well. It does one arrow at a time. I don't know who carries it though.
