have there been any actuall brightness tests on bowsights with fiber optics? does anyone have opinions (loaded question) on wich is the brightest?thanks

I find that the green fiber optics are brighter for longer than the red.

Green, hands down.

I'm thinking that you mean manufacturers rather than colors. All the manufacturers are pretty even across the board because they get their fiber from the same source. If you're looking into brightening things up (and getting a more durable/flexible fiber) look at retrofitting your old sight with some Fitz Fibers: www.fitzfiber.com
