I see the GKF 'Brotherhood' never misses a beat. The 'infomercials' on this and other forums is amazing. I wonder if I'm the only one to notice this.

I'm sure the competition was only evaluating the PD rest, which is what I did when I was at the GKF booth. The major shortfall that is obvious when you see it is the lack of ANY arrow captivation. Just like any TM Hunter style prong rest, the arrow can be easily bounced or knocked off.

I will purchase one and do a thorough evaluation and destruct test just as I did on the Mirage rest.

I noticed that about the launchers.

GKF Tech , does the power drop have any other capture type prong options? Please dont tell me I'll have to wait until next year It would be so awesome if somebody would give us the ideal package in the first year of the products debut , instead of the three year plan.

Len, I've noticed this too. I can't think of any other manufacturer that is promoted more on the archery forums. The threads usually have the same four or five posters promoting the products. I guess when I see these topics come up I just read them for fun. With all the repetition from the same people I can't take the promotion very seriously.

P.S. I miss Rocker, Please come back!

Rock On

No Len, you're not the only one.

The blatant "used car salesman" hyping of this product by a select few individuals OVER and OVER spread across many forums is quite amusing, but it gets old very quickly. By the way this thing has been hyped, you'd think it was amazing that anyone was ever able to shoot an arrow accurately out of a bow before this thing came along!

Is GKF going to start taking out 7page ads in the magaines like some other "over-hypers"? You'd think so by the trumpeting of the horns that is going around by some.....

I just e-mailed Dan Evans of Trophy Taker to get his TRUE opinion of the Power Drop. It'll be interesting to see what he says about another company (GKF) dropping his name to promote their product. It'd be like Bowtech coming on here and saying "MAtt McPherson came and shot our bows and loves them" Yeah Right!!! Bet Mathews would sue their A$$es off....I've always thought that Mathews had some great bows but their marketing tactics get old...kind of like this...Sorry but until the Power Drop shows a better arrow capture system,I'll pass....Might be good for targets though???

HCA & archer's choice come out with a vertical drop rest it uses a sting served into the cable. I'll see if I can post a pic of it. it was on the bows in shooting booth at indy
looks like a cross between TT & muzzy drop away

I'll never understand why alot of folks get their undies in a knot over someone pumping an archery product It seems to be fine when it's a product you like!
