John.

I designed my arrows to get the highest possible FOC, I was using standard inserts and Muzzy Phantoms 200gr but had trouble getting 200gr field tips without paying $10 per dozen.

So I dropped the head weight back to 125gr and went for the 100gr brass insert to keep the FOC up there.

I am getting great arrow flight with the high FOC plus better penetration at all yardages, the arrow is also a lot more forgiving specially if there is a strong cross wind the arrow is still going to hit where I am aiming.

Those seem like some good trade offs for the weight what kind of speeds are you getting with that much weight?

Have not crono'd the bow but will take a guess at around 230fps

Another plus is the quitness of the bow

I forgot about that, the heavy arrow is going to absorb alot of the bows energy!

Yes it does and also the arrowmaintains more momentium down range

It is easy to tell when my arrows reach the target at 50 yards they hit with a lot of thump

Thats pretty heavy sure seems like you like it! Hey here is a question for ya when installing a drop-away at what point in the draw cycle do you want the rest to pick/drop? I set mine up so they pick up in about the last inch of the draw so they have as little contact with the arrow as possible after release. Am i right in doing this?

Plus all you guys will be able to see the hunt on TV some time next year.
Aussie-guy, you got any more info on this for us?

I can't wait for mine to arrive. It looks like the Supremes have everything a broadhead should have.

I wasn't too impressed with them. I figure if they came from Australia, they can't be any good, Australia gets rid of it's junk...... Got ya mate...

I was standing next to my little outback friend when he was blasting the target... they are nice! Any head that will hit the mark at fifty yards, (with Russ) shooting them can't be bad.
