Hey ya'll i just need a little help with this one. I used to have this equation in a notebook, but it has come up missing. So if ya'll could send it my way that would be great! I need to figure out the KE of my new(old) finger bow

You will find the formula at the bottom of this page, but I highly recommend that you read the article. It points out that kenetic energy has absolutely no correlation to penetration of arrows in game.

A quick KE formula that has the weight-to-mass and grains-to-pounds conversions already accounted for:

S^2(W)/450240 = Ft Lbs

S = Arrow Speed in feet per second
W= Arrow Weight in grains
