Default ontarget2

i am running the trial version...really want an archery program, just deciding what one i want...

i was curious...anyone test their calculated speed vs a chronograph?? how close is it??

i went to ~100gr heavier arrow, but also went up some in draw weight...its saying my new setup is actually faster than my old setup...

the whole time with the old setup i thought i was at 67-68lbs..but found out i wasnt...my bolts were maxed out but my strings werent loaded..so i was probably pulling low 60s..so that may be why im now shooting the same/5fps faster...IF OT2 is pretty accurate...next time im at the shop i will chrono it...

260fps with a 456gr arrow aint bad...im really happy with that...i was figuring 240s...since my old setup was 255-260 with 380gr arrows...

I tried On Target and did not like it so I went with Archers Advantage it is more user friendly.

On Target was right on w/ the speed on my Tribute set up, but 10fpsfaster on the Black Ice than I'm really getting. I believe that the IBO ratings that OnTarget uses varies some. I also think it depends on the efficiency of the bow. Some are just more efficient than others.
Case in point: a 2 cam bow vs. a 1 cam bow.

thanx guys...i actually entered all the stats...they had my arrow setup on there...but the bow they didnt so i entered all that.

i actually ran my old arrows, and it was about 12fps higher than my chrono reports...BUT...i thought my draw was 67-68...with my limbs maxed out it was only low 60s...i know my old string definently needed a couple twists to load it..the ATA was an inch off...so i bet i was drawing low 60s...

i dont know...even a 456gr arrow at 250fps aint too shabby out of a bow with an ibo of 305

happy with the new setup...shooting really well. maybe tomarrow i will pop in the shop and hit the draw weight and chrono...i have no idea what its pullin right now...we had it at 70 but he did some more loading..i never could tell the difference of a few pounds...curious to see the numbers though..just like to know those things
