Tuning Gap on single cam Bowtech

How critical is this measurement? On my liberty, just got the string changed. I got it shooting bullet holes thru paper and its broadhead tuned nicely out to 40 yards. But I measure .395" using calibers from the center of the module screw head to the limb. The spec is called to be .298" +/-.01".
Question,
Is the gap on the center of the module screw head, or the edge?
and does it matter so much? And it best to untwist the string or cable to get the right number?

The gap is to the nearest to the limb, edge of the screw hole. Use a 5/16 bolt for a gauge at .312" and you will be pretty close using the threadded end of the bolt. The limbs need to be maxed out and have the brace and ATA in spec when you adjust for the .298" measurement.
