Default cable slides

Picked up my bow the other day and noticed that the cable slide had broken off. This is a diamond bow that is only a few months old. Should I replace it with the origional slide? It was broken along the back and to me that says it is pretty weak. Ihave seen others and was wondering if it made any diference in which one I bought. Can they offer any advantages in perfoormance? Any input would be appreciated

You can replace the factory slide with either a Sims or a Saunders Hyperslide.Either one of these are a good replacement, and they will shoot alot smoother then the factory slide.

I've actually witnessed the Hyperslide come apart when a guy released. It sounded like a dry fire and a piece of the slide hit him in the nose. After seeing that I'd never recommend that slide to anyone.

The tephlon is clipped into place and if that clip fails it will result in what I witnessed.

I would go with the factory slide. I put a new one on my Guardian to try and get more vane clearance and my arrows started hitting 3" left. The new slide was pulling my cables over and torqueing my limbs. It threw the bow out of tune.Put the old one back on and hitting bulls again.
