Default no peep

Has anyone tried or know of anyone who has tried the "No peep sight" by Timberline Archery or "Anchor sight" by Archery Innovations. I was wondering if people like them or not. Which one would you prefer over the other and why? Does water or sunlight reflection affect either of these products? Thanks

Default RE: no peep

I've used the No Peep for years on my hunting bows and wouldn't be without it. I haven't tried the Anchor Sight but I know some that really like that one too. Very similar in function. The Anchor Sight is bigger and made of some plastic parts.

There can be some glare of the NP lens if you're in just the perfect position with the sun, but the odds of that happening arekinda rare. Plus once you start using the NP, it becomes second nature and is just a check with your peripheral vision- you are not totally dependant on it.

They can be a bit tricky to setup for the first time, once you do it a few times they get easier. Helps a lot to have another set of hands for assistance.

I think they are wonderful for hunting situations. Since you're not looking through a normal peep which cuts down on the incominglight, it gives you an extra few minutes of shooting time at dusk. But you need to try it to see if these types of products are for you.
