You can hold the bow in place while evening up the tabs with the limb tips just by pushing down on the chain. Once the limbs are where you want them, hold pressure on the chain and start ratcheting the handle.

I made the "anchor sprocket" out of 1/4 inch flat stock. It takes all the load instead of relying on the master link.

Tabs are adjustable on the back side from 1 1/2 inches outside to outside to 2 1/2 inches.

The tubing measures 3 inches by 1 1/2 inches and is 14 guage steel.

thats an awesome looking press good job,I have a bear trurh bow and would like to find the ultra rest or the bowmender but I was told WWAG,mom was not doing very well which I'm sorry to hear,and that he did not have any free time to make any,I found the ultra press on a forum on here and now I can not find it,should have wrote the adress down,the ultra press is hydraulic also,looks like the omni bench press model,if anyone knows how to find the ultra press I would sure appreciate it.

Hey,thanks for the picture WWAG,I purchased the omni bench model they had with the permanent legs on it this morning at a good price to,I did'nt even now you posted this,the ultra press looks almost identical to the omni press,albert the one that sold me the press said they do almost look the same,looks like a nice one I'm sure it will get alot of use,Thanks Ted.
