ORIGINAL: Ausie-guy

WHAT DO YOU GUYS DO?
It's what I dont do and that is hunt or shoot in the rain

Get some flat black paint and repaint the rusty parts then cover with car polish like Frank mentioned
If your going to do this your gonna have to remove all the rust before you paint and cover with wax. If you just paint over the rust it'll come back through the new paint. Make sure you get all the rust off and then cover with a protectant

For Pete's sake, just go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get stainless bolts. Problem solved forever.

stainless helps but will still rust. its all about maintainance. get that bow out of the case and dry it off a.s.a.p.. also i like to coat with synthetic no smell type oils but some brands will react with plastics especially when it gets cold. one time my qwikee quiver bracket just fell off in 15 degree weather right where the screws were oiled.
