Default arrow problem

well i was shooting the other day and one of my flethings was knocked off by one of my other arrows and my buddy knows hot to and is able to re-fletch arrows. so he went to take off the other fletchings and he used a tool called the zip strip and well when he took off the fletching, he peeled off the paint with it? im not really sure if its paint though. so i was just wondering if that has ever happened to you guys or what do you think is wrong because he has done some of his arrows and others of mine and they all came out perfect, it was just this one that was different.

thanks

PS they are gold tip arrows.

if its just paint or some kind of coating i doubt youll have any problems...make sure he didnt dig into the carbon fiber though. damaged carbon is bad and that arrow is useless. but if its just paint or a coating i dont see a problem? i dont know for sure though...if all else fails call or email gold tip...someone here should know though..

my buddy re-fletched the arrows and i shot it and i didnt notice anything different, so i dont think it was the actual carbon, thank you though.
