I had one a few years ago. I pressed my Mathews Q2XL and one of the brass fittings let go. Scared the hell out of me. Never used it again. I have the psyclone bow press now. Its awesome. I don't even know if they still make it. It presses while you draw your bow.

That's the only thing with the bowmaster... I've heard too many stories like that, from too many different forums. That, and it doesn't double as a stand while you're working on your bow.

I have the bowmaster press and have never had any trouble with it. It is so compact you can put it in your pocket.

Ive had one for a few months now. Ive used it to swap modules, put on string silencers, peeps. Its small, portable and simple to use. A lot easier if you turn your limb bolts a few turns though. It can get kinda rough if your bow is maxed out at 70lbs.

A good tip there... and recommended by most manufacturers irrespective of which press you're using.

Yea most people dont pay attention but most companys suggest turning the limb bolts out before the bow be put in ANY press. And why not its not that big of a deal and takes some stress of the bow.
