I have a bowmaster press and also a 2002 pse xcellerator, single cam bow. Is it possible to fully take the limbs off my bow with this portable press? If not, why not?

I would say no. I don' t think there' s enough adjustment in the portable press to allow you to fully unload the limbs. They work great for just about everything else though. I changed the string/cable on my bow recently with the same press you mention.
