Default Beman ICS hunters 340's

I am shooting A 06 tribute smooth mods and a QAD ultra ld. I was wondering if these arrows would be a good fit. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I guess it depends on your draw length and poundage.

Well, with that arrow, your on the edge with spine. If you get a 30" arrow, your might be too weak. But with a 29" arrow, you would be ok. I imagine with a 29.5" draw, you want arrows at least 30". You might have to back down on poundage about 4lbs. Only bareshaft or broad head tuning can tell you for sure. I shoot 340's at 29" arrow length, and had to lower my poundage down to 66lbs for broadhead tuning.

I'm guessing your arrows @ 28 1/2", and yes, you will be fine. But you are close....300's would probably work a bit better, depending on arrow length.

I'd say you were talking about a 400 spine. Mine is the exact oppisite. The 340's I shoot are too stiff at about the same set up. Last I looked that spec was on the cusp of the 400-340, not the extreme end of the 340.

I'd go with the elites in that shaft. I like them better.

No nodog, I shoot a 340 at 29" out of my liberty at 67lbs. And its on the edge. If his draw is 29.5, then he would want to shoot a 30" arrow. Maybe 30.5". And 340 is too weak.

Interesting. I have shot the 340s with my 31 inch draw (30.25 inch arrow) and 65-70 pound draw weight range off and on for several years. I do not have the chart handy but I was under the impression that I was right in the middle of the 340 suggested range. It has tuned well enough for me over the years. Now you have me wanting to go back and check.
