Whats your thoughts on this rest? Do you really think it is worth $100. It looks like it would be kinda hard to tune. Who all uses the MZE and do you have any complaints about this rest?

It is not near as complicated as it may look, and you will not get an easier tuning, or more accurate rest! It is not perfect, and it won't make you a better shooter, but it can help. I think it is worth the 100 bucks, besides look at what some of the other premeium rests are going for now!

KY......I'll sum up my thoughts for you.

1. EASIEST rest to tune that I've ever seen
2. Dead silent
3. Arrow cannot fall off and is placed EVERY shot(no more checking if it's there)
4. Driven.....doesn't "Fall" away, so it's consistent EVERY shot.
5. Complete fletch clearance (allows any funky fletching/helical/length combo you care to try.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
6. Reliable.....I haven't adjusted a screw on mine in a year.
7. Accurate.....everything listed makes it the most accurate rest I've ever used.
8. Actually pretty easy to set up.

Is it worth $100??.......(don't tell Muzzy, but I think it's a STEAL for $100 )

Got mine for $75. I'm trying to sight in my bow. It is easy and quiet. So far so good. Worth the $75.

Although I no longer use this rest, I obtained the tightest groups ever when I had it on my bow. Actually, all of the drop aways I've tried, have tightened my groups. I no longer use it, because it just seemed too big for me. Not that it was really in the way, but I just like prong style drop aways with the turned down V prongs. Like the Tiger Tuffs, or the GKF V launchers. They are more compact, and I know more about them. I realize that the Muzzy is a pretty tough rest, but if it ever broke on me in the woods, I'd be screwed.
Many people like the fact that the arrow can't fall off the rest, but I've NEVER had my arrow falling off the rest as a problem. Also, the reason I use the V-style prongs on my rest, is because when they are covered and silenced with suede leather, (similar to moleskin), I can honestly cant my bow parallel to the ground and the arrow WILL NOT fall off!
The Muzzy ZE is a good rest, but it just wasn't for me.
Also, KY, keep in mind that if you plan to use the Zero Effect on a Hoyt TEC riser, you will need to get the special little mounting plate from Muzzy. They probably don't cost much, but my dealer gave me a plate for free when I purchased the Zero Effect.

I haven't used this rest, reasons. I have been shooting recurve for hunting and competition. Will I use it? I don't really think, its another one of those the more movable parts the more that can go wrong type of thing, kind of like my thoughts on mechanicals, even with the high proficiency that 5 shot has given on some of them Im still kind of wondering on the margin of error. As for groups, the best I have ever grouped was with a Free flite flipper rest and plunger, 1&quot; diameter dot 3 arrows 20meters, same at 30. I don't see the problems with any rests as long as you have a relaxed bow hand and smooth release fingers or mechanical. As for $100 thats gonna be about 200 here, I don't know that I wanna spend that much on it or just go to a good ole golden futura premier. Thats what I think, right or wrong????

The ZE is worth the investment!!!

Could I get some reason's why it's so good? I have shot Cavaliers premium free flite rests for about 4years now on my Olym recurve and had to switch the magnetic pull away to a flipper style rest because it was causing me to many hassles with time in competitions. Just give me a few reasons why and you might sell me when I get my compound.

I paid 80 for mine and I think it is worth every penny. It looks difficult and complex but it isnt. The hardest part is to set it up and once you understand how it works it is very simple to tune.
