Default Aftermarket strings

It seems strings have been a hotter topic this week, any suggestions on aftermarket strings? Pros/Cons of brands etc? I just would like to get a feel of whats available. Let me know what you folks think as far as replacing the stock Allegiance string. And always, thanks in advance!

I think unless your stock bowtech string is going bad it would be a waste of money . their is'nt a better stock string on the market. IMO

I agree, the stock strings from Bowtech are arguably the best out there. I hada set on my 05 Allegiance for almost 2 years and they did not stretch at all once they broke in, which is usually 50 - 100 shots I guess. I just bought an 07 Allegiance and will shoot the life out of those strings before going to an aftermarket set. Even then, I may end up getting my strings straight from Bowtech.

I call gibblet first and see if he can get them to me in time , if not vaportrail gets the call . I used to buy winnerschoice , but they are expensive , and I dont like the x-wrap stuff they use on their strings , makes twisting and installing leaches imposable .

Jimmy,

It's called X-coat and you don't have to get it when you order Winner's Choice. In fact it's not standard on their strings.

I just read the info. that came with my WC Strings.
The x-coat is only on the servings to reduce wear.
